Welcome To Inches and Pounds

Welcome to Inches and Pounds, where you can take your first step to ending roller-coaster dieting frustration for good!  You have probably tried several other weight loss programs and found that you have gained all the weight back and maybe even more!

The hCG Diet is designed to target FAT loss, not loss of your precious muscle, unlike starvation diets that are a quick fix. Low calorie diets may result in muscle loss which can slow down your metabolism making it harder for you to lose weight in the future and causing you to gain back all the weight you lost. It is believed that the hCG hormone shrinks and liquefies fat cells and delivers up to 2000 calories of energy for your body to utilize, thereby preventing hunger and weakness.

The Physicians and Staff at Inches and Pounds congratulate you for taking your first step towards ending roller-coaster dieting for good. We look forward to helping you achieve a healthier and thinner... YOU!

All the Best,

The Inches and Pounds Team

Phase 2 hCG Diet Protocol Food Tips For Those on Go

What can people do when they are out in public and are unable to prepare the healthy meal of choice for Phase 2 of the hCG diet protocol?

People on phase 2 of the hCG diet protocol learn to incorporate healthy foods into their daily diet. They learn to cook these foods using low fat and simple methods. Dieters learn to enjoy healthy meal choices and learn how to create desirable meals out of naturally nutritious ingredients, all while losing approximately a pound a day.

Phase 2 of the protocol is based on foods like: lean protein (fish, chicken, beef), tomatoes, celery, asparagus, spinach, onions, green apples, oranges, strawberries and tea. Eating out in public can be somewhat challenging for a dieter in Phase 2.

To avoid any pitfalls a dieter can enjoy their experience by utilizing these tips:

•    Dieters can order a choice of approved protein on a bed of lettuce. They can ask to have the protein grilled and plain, free from marinades and sauces.

Total Body Colon Cleanse and the HCG Diet

As food travels through our Gastrointestinal (GI) tract, useful nutrients are absorbed, and what is left over passes through our system, but if the bowels become clogged or saturated with toxins, or experience a buildup of plaque, then their ability to absorb nutrients is compromised.

1) HCG is not an FDA approved method of weight-loss therapy. 2) HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.
